My story with Crafty Roots begins long before it had a name—around a kitchen table, creating alongside my mom.

My mom was the one who introduced me to crafting. She taught me not just the how-to’s, but how much meaning, care, and heart can be woven into something made by hand.

After she passed away, creating became a way for me to stay connected to her. What once was simply time spent together slowly grew into something more. Crafty Roots was born from that connection—a place where creativity, family, and heartfelt memories come together.

Every piece created here is crafted with intention and care, inspired by the love that first sparked my passion. What began as something simple has grown into a way to honor her legacy, celebrate meaningful moments, and create keepsakes that feel personal and lasting for the families who receive them.

One of my most treasured memories from my mom: a wooden box filled with hand-painted Christmas ornaments she made herself. Every year, that box is the very first decoration to come out. It’s the first thing placed under the tree and the foundation of everything that follows. More than ornaments, it holds memories, love, and a tradition that continues year after year.
